Coming from a medical background, consciousness is the presence of cerebral functions in response to stimulation. It can be further divided in sub-conscious and un-conscious states. It can be recorded by electric (EEG) and magnetic(MEG) brain activity, The absence of which is now used to legalise death, allow the removal of life support and authorise organ transplant if accepted by a will or by family.

Difficult part of the spiritual process if a dawn came in a non prepared body, by accident, by shortcuts or by a previous life. A negative karmic balance that cannot be explained in our actual life, often caused by karma from  family, ancestry or spiritual traditions that do not respect the natural course of life since time immemorial.

After a  near death experience or during any of the two dawns, there can be healing crisis where an old disease, a scar, a fracture or an emotional trauma comme back to the surface to be healed or its memory dissolved. It can be physically painful and not respond to conventional treatment until the memory cause is adressed like in the case of phobias treated by hypnosis or life regression. Intense localised pain, redness and swelling can come acutely to disappear a few days after never to come back again. A watch and wait attitude and adjustment of spiritual practices can be required; if too intense, slow them, if tolerable, one can try to increase them to shorten the time to recovery.

Awareness is what remains in the advanced meditation levels when thoughts are suspended (Turiya 4-7). It can be felt like a neutral void, a dark abyss or an expansive trance-lucid Goddly state.

It is a qualitative experience and state but cannot equal the quantitative aspect of the whole creation, God, and those who reach there come back with spontaneous humility and Grace. The "drop in the ocean" of Rumi.

A near death experience is an occasion when a personne comme closes to the material body's death and comes back to life. It can last from an instant up to few hours and the experience varies a lot between people. Following this experience, a lot of people get naturally more spiritual as they have often made an out of body experience during the process. An advanced spiritual evolution includes knowledge about, and sometimes the experience of, the body transmigration and prepares people for it.

This is when we are 100% aware during daily activities. For example, listening instead of hearing, seeing instead of quickly looking, remembering while reading, It is an embodiment of our awareness in our daily consciousness; otherwise said, a spiritual presence.

The breath of God, the light orb, tikkle, that enters and leaves the body at birth, in advanced meditation and at death. It consist of light memories. This part is not eternal.

Particle of eternal spiritual vibratory essence and pure awareness. This particle is eternal.
